Ian Macleod
   

 

Ian MacLeod obtained his education in Winnipeg, attending the University of Manitoba to study Fine Arts and the Red River College Graphic Design program.

1970 - 1972 MacDonald Michaleski Associates, Winnipeg: illustrator/designer.
1972 - 1977 Canadian Government Exposition Centre, Ottawa: exhibit and graphic designer.
1975 appointed design coordinator for the United Nations Conference on Human Settlements (Habitat) in Vancouver.
1978 formed TCA Design Ltd. in Vancouver.
1981 graphics coordinator for the Expo 86 Corporation.
1984 formed Haynes and MacLeod Graphic Design Consultants Ltd.
1985 formed Ian MacLeod Design Ltd.

Projects and Clients:

-Art direction of Westworld, BC Business and LeisureWays Magazines;
-Instructed design workshops at Emily Carr College of Art and Design;
-Graphics for the Canadian and The Northwest Territories Pavilions at Expo 86;
-Corporate, promotional and advertising pieces for the Ministry of Education,BC Transit, the Canadian 
  Government Exposition Centre, the Susan Clark Gallery, and Bing Thom Architects;
- Creative consultant for The ArtDept. - design of all national print advertising and POP materials for 7-Eleven Canada.
